Biological Treatment
The two core elements of any biological water treatment process are creating a desired environment that favors certain microorganism species for different process purposes and managing the activated sludge generated.
AWNs has in-house process knowledge and hands-on experience with various conventional Activated Sludge Processes (AB, AAO, Bardenpho, and Oxidation Ditch) as well as more recent modern developments such as membrane bioreactors, membrane aeration systems, and moving bed reactors.
Solid / Liquid Separation
From gravity sedimentation to membrane filtration and everything in between, AWNs can select and supply the most suitable solutions for your applications. Our offerings include: Clarification, DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation), Sludge Centrifugal and Press Dewatering, Multimedia Filtration, Microfiltration (MF) & Ultrafiltration (UF), and Ceramic UF.
Desalination / Zero Liquid Discharge
Removing salts and dissolved matter from water has always been a challenge. Such processes are often found to be energy-intensive and come with high operational risks, requiring extensive experience with one or a combination of the following processes: Reverse Osmosis (RO), Evaporators, and Crystallizers.
AWNs has the ability to design, commission, operate, and optimize large-scale desalination and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) processes, achieving high process recovery and improving process stability.
Ultrapure Water
Ultrapure water is critical for industries such as power, semiconductor, and health & pharma. AWNs can supply turnkey packages for all types of ultrapure water system.
